I'm shreding

On Saturday my husband were out separately at the same time. We both came back with the same item for me. It was the 30 day shred. I've wanted this for quite some time now and he usually doesn't buy my anything to do with losing weight for fear of insulting me so I thought I was safe buying it. I guess great minds think alike. This is only day three for me but I can do twenty minutes of anything. Let's see if I am still saying that on day 20.

I've also been doing weight watchers now for four weeks and I am happy to say that I am down 11 pounds. I am really loving their new points plus program. I mean look at Jennifer Hudson. She looks amazing. It really does work!

I have always struggled with my weight but after having babies it became even harder. Yes I realize that my babies are now 3 and 6 but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Is anyone else shreding or want to join me? We can cheer each other on :)

Weight watchers you say, eh?? I'm going to try it. Let me know how the shredding goes. I have to squeeze into a bridesmaid dress in May and am DREADING it. Especially since two of the girls are model thin. My husband is the same way about mentioning weight. Thank goodness for that! I would hate to think of my reaction if he even hinted that he thought I needed lose weight. It would be more of a tirade that went something like: I didn't see you having two babies - housing them, nourishing them, then being cut open to give birth to them...Likely he never mentions anything like this out of fear:)

Oh, I started doing the 30 Day Shred a few months ago. I was doing pretty good for about 10 days, but I noticed a drop in my milk supply (I'm a nursing mom) so I quit. I really liked it, though, even though it was HARD. I'm thinking of starting again now that the baby's eating more food and nursing less... I should join you, I definitely need the motivation - and the exercise!

It may be 3 and 6 years, but it seems like 3 and 6 blinks! Good luck with your weight loss!

Kath - I have the shred! I did it last year... I probably lasted 2 weeks doing it everyday.. then, I found I would skip out on the harder parts to where I was only doing about 10 minutes of it. Yup. I have the kind of motivation people dream of having. (lol.. yah. right.)
I hope you have better luck with it!
