This is my last week off before heading back to meet my new class who if last year is any indication of what I'm in store for...I'm in trouble. I'm trying to stay positive and my thought is that every student starts with a clean slate, no matter what they did last year. So I'm trying to steer clear of those first grade teacher and stay away from those negative comments of well last year he was...or look out for that one she was a big problem for me she used to... New teacher and a fresh start that's going to be my mantra.
So today we hit the aquarium. We've been there before but not in a while. It's always a fun day. I love a day out with my girls wherever we go.

Hope school goes great for you this year! :O)
I'm so happy that you are steering clear of the previous year's teachers. I think you are right that every kid deserves to be looked at as if they have a fresh start. I can tell that you're a great teacher. The Aquarium looks like a lot of fun. Wish we had something similar around here.
It's so funny, but the kids I was always "worried about" or had been warned about, were never the biggest problems for me. Sure, they aren't always easy, but never as made as my colleagues said! Thank God, right?;)
What a fun outing to end summer! Let the new kiddos know that they start fresh with a new teacher & new school year. Hope it's the best!
Your friend from another country commented on your blog again? Tell the truth - you two are friends! LOLOLOL!
I love the pictures... I have to admit that the picture of Gillian looked like she was really holding those fish and wearing those pants.. so, when Alyssa posed the same way, for a second,I was like, hey - she is wearing Gillian's pants - and holding those fish again! AAaaah... it's not real!
DUH!
Hun that looks like so much fun!! Love the fishing pics :).
Hope school starts off with a good bang :)
